Costs for Welcoming/Christening Officiant Services
The all-inclusive cost for Bill’s and Joanne’s welcoming/christening officiant services is $525. This cost includes the following:
- Initial Meeting. During this introductory meeting the parents and officiants (Bill and Joanne) get to know each other and discuss the parent’s vision for the ceremony. There is no cost for this meeting, after which the parents decide whether or not to employ with our services.
- Outline of typical ceremony elements
- Resource Packet containing samples of content for ceremony elements
- Sample welcoming/christening ceremonies
- Questions for parents to answer
- Background information sheets for parents, child, and the ceremony
- Draft ceremony script, developed by Bill and Joanne based on parent’s input and answers to questions. This will be emailed to the parents for their review and edit.
- Second Meeting. During this meeting, the officiants and parents will review, finalize, and practice the entire ceremony.
- Bill and Joanne will co-officiate the ceremony at the venue. This venue can be as formal or informal as desired to include a religious institution, public building or park, home, or elsewhere.
- All travel to/from the ceremony venue

This program is designed to create a welcoming/christening experience for the parents, their families, and friends that is meaningful and personal. If necessary, the two meetings can be held via Skype or Zoom; however, we have found that the benefits to the parents and their satisfaction seem to be best achieved by in-personal meetings.
